This was the home of Mary J. and William H. Osbourne. As noted earlier, Mary was the mother of Margaret Fitzgerald Joyce and the grandmother of Norma Joyce Trant. William worked as a foreman for Ahrens & Ott Manufacturing which was one of the companies that became American Standard Plumbing.
This was the home of Helen Nalley and her husband. Helen was the daughter of Mary and William Osbourne. Mary died here on August 6, 1933.
Margaret "Maggie" and John Wente lived in this house. Maggie was the sister of Mary Osbourne and the aunt of Margaret Fitzgerald Joyce. She visited the Trants in Syracuse into the 1940’s. She died in Louisville on April 9, 1951.
A third sister, Johanna Myron Sheridan, also moved to Louisville at some time before 1930.
All three of these homes are within a two block section of Southern Parkway in Louisville, KY. This is one side of the parkway. On the left you can just see the main street and further to the left is another "lane" for the houses on the other side.
