The Salt Shaker

Here’s the finished product…

And a look at the tile in the garage. I need to take another picture since this door has now been replaced.

Yesterday Mike put up the perpendicular tiles…

And today, he grouted everything…

Even without the grout, the tile looks great.

And while he was at it, Mike put some quarry tile in the garage.

Once again there’s been a glitch and Steve didn’t move into his new house on the 15th. Furthermore, no new date has been set. Sooo… we’ve all been a little down.

I don’t have too many new pictures but here are a few.

This is on the SUNY Brockport campus in front of the library. We walk by here every day and on this morning, we’d stopped for a minute while Mike took a stone out of his boot. Constructed in Russia, they were donated to the school by the sculptor in celebration of the participants in the Special Olympics which were held here in the summer of1979.

It seems to be rather late in the season for such a young duckling, but s/he and mama seem unperturbed by the increasing signs that fall is arriving.

Mike has built two of these benches for the back porch.

Mike has been painting the trim and doing touch up this week.

Today he rolled on the yellow…
