It is soooo hot tonight. The forecast for tomorrow is “near” 100. It hasn’t been 100 degrees in Rochester since 1953.
It wasn’t so bad when we walked this morning. Lots of boats between the bridges. I counted nine and there were five that had just headed east.

There’s been quite a bit of painting going on downtown this summer.

Dan’s new scooter arrived today. With a little help from Dad, it’s ready to go.

I’m tickled that my little $3 fuschia plant has such beautiful blossoms… and lots of them. I tried growing fuschias in Georgia, but they never amounted to anything.

They’re building new dorms on the campus, townhouse style, as is the vogue these days.

This squirrel was enjoying a french fry.

Not so many cans to collect today.

All the ducks were hanging out on the rocks further up the canal than usual… probably because this dog was swimming near their usual hangout.

Lots of goodies at the farmers’ market now… apricots, peaches, blueberries, corn… we’re eating good.

No work on the project today.
This morning I chased this squirrel off the bird feeder several times.

There’s been activity on the campus this weekend since some of the Empire State Games events are being held here. Hence, Steve filled up a bag with cans and bottles as we walked by the dorms. Mike and I stopped in the shade to wait for him to come around this building.

I was sad when I saw this robins’ nest on the ground.
But there were lots of ducks in the canal.

We only walk by this house on the weekends. Each week new flowers are in bloom.
