A day in Grand Canyon Village, cont’d
After that big breakfast, we headed up the rim trail to the west, past the Bright Angel Lodge…
Folks were lining up for mule rides down to Plateau Point.
Here we’re looking down on an upper section of the Bright Angel Trail. The previous day we had gone down this trail to the first resthouse at a Mile and a Half.
The mule riders are beginning to descend the trail.
More of the Bright Angel Trail and, in the upper left corner, the trail out to Plateau Point.
The side canyon that you can see in the background is where we’ll be going over the next couple days.
