On Monday, the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association recognized student athletes from around the state at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord. Award recipients are nominated each year by their athletic director based on criteria which requires the high school seniors have a B+ grade point average or better, letter in at least two varsity sports, participate in community service activities and serve as role models to their peers. At the awards ceremony, Governor John H. Lynch gave the welcoming address and congratulated the scholar athletes.
